Fruits try to rise

We believe that it's time to shape up since the band isn't doin that well with the gigs
coz of the school works that is conflicting our skeds....But we promise to rise up and try to figure out how to handle the
situation. We hope we could have more recordings in the future. Also,we plan to cover up new OPM songs inorder for our band
to gain new flavors,ahihi.....hope u can bear with us,tnx......

We finally finished our recording!We're glad to say that the demo turned out great. You
can check it out at soundclick.com (or you can check it out at the home page. As for the Ep, we're plannin to finalize it
before the second sem starts. So basically we recorded three songs namely Ikaw ang aking Bituin, Misconstrued daydream, and
yahoo song. Ren is also plannin to release the demos on some radio stations so that it could be heard through the radio. We
hope that you guys would support us more through our gigz and stuff.....thanks guys,till next time....yahoo!
Matty boy as the drummer boy

Last Friday and saturday were special gigs 4 us since
Matt (Rodriguez) was our drummer. We trained and helped him through few practices before the gigs
itself. He even had his little note with him so that he would remember the patterns of the songs. Our first practice with
him was last tuesday. On that day, mj guided him through the beats and patterns that he needed. On the next practice (thursday),
matty boy was able to perform better due to his experience from the last practice. On our last practice, we headed to a studio
since mj went on vacation and we can't go practice at their house. Matty had sone flaws at the beginning. But with our help,
we able to finally perfect the songs. Our first gig with him was in Gweilos. The said gig was arranged
by AMP (Ateneo Musician's Pool). Some of the other performers that was on the same gig were rampqueen and spongecola.We went first inorder to kick the show. Matt's was able to support him by going
to the gig. We had a warm crowd who cheered for us,it was great. Matt performed well....The next day, our next gig was in
Timog. (Al got the gig by the way, we love u aL!oh my gosh!) the place was quite weird since it
has a glass that seperates the performers to the crowd. Matt even said that the sounds would bounce off due to the glass.
The mic was awful though coz it gives feedbacks and stuff...(grrrr!!). Still, we were able to perform great. Matt's family
and the ever loving arnobit was there as well. We were suppose to go to summer slam though but we thought about it and concluded
that we can't since were tires and the place must be full of drunk people since the place is giving out free beer along with
your 180pesos. Lastly, we're plannin to record our songs this week (yahoooo,finally!). Hope you
guys would support us all the way...till next time,yahoo!!!

Plannin 2 recOrd...

Finally we've got the balls to plan 2 record. After
realizing that since we're becoming 2nd year college students by next next mOnth, we needed a demo badly considering
that we got lots of good songs na which is a good thing...Even though most of us are taking up summer
class, we're still in the mood to record.... The band plans to record three sOngs from our
list. We still can't finalize the sOngs but bituin misconstrued, and yahoo will might be
our choices. a Recording studio at xavierville was suggested by our good friend sir villena. it costs at 1800 per sOng which
is kinda heavy on the pockets. Still we got some dough since we won the band competition in AC and was paid 2k for the UR
RM gig which gives us a sum of 3k...Anyway, we plan 2 record at the first week of may and plan 2 release the finalized EP
by the second sem of next school year. Miro boy even has a proposed EP cover 4 it na...We hope 4 ur continous support.
We have upcoming gigz on April 29 and 30 (same date as summer slam).....hope to see you at our

What a week we had last week....First gig, Ateneo....it was
cool to finally have a successful gig at Ateneo. It was a mini reunion for us i-boys. Many came to the Ateneo gig since it
was the last for their school year (freshmen)....it was too bad jerO didn't play due to lack of amps (sowee jerO bOy)...wake up also performed and did great....julo was one of the host and was still the same as before. we
would like to thank for our groupie namely matty,alvin,matsu, abe,ussi and friends,arnobit,brian,etc. 2nd gig, Archi Battle of the Bands......our gig there was great. Jero performed like hell and even got his
finger bleeding. Jero almost fainted due to lack of blood but told us that he was alright. Too
bad only a few people came...the event was supported by MTV. Uste was part of the VJ hunt campus tour thingy so the finalists were there. They had good sound systems (its
MTV for crying out loud....um, they produce music!)...Marc Abaya (Kjwan,<s>anwich) introduced
our band to the crowd which was a cool thing for us...we did our best and played two songs for the competition.we played the
yahOO sOng and ikaw ang aking Bituin....We were surprised to see an AMP
band joining...um like,how did they got there (it's uste?!?!?!) anyway, our hearts broke when jerO announced to us that the
competition wasn't a competition anymore and was just an exhibition since some bands played 3 sOngs. Kjwan judged the competition
but was forced to call it off since they said that it wasn't fair for the other bands who played just two sOngs....Anyway,
it was fine with us....3rd Gig, Chalk Fest (uste).....the gig was a monday so it was kinda
hassel to our Ateneo band mates....Still, we played while the chalk fest contestants drew on the floor...the
drawings was great since it was all colorful...we were the first band to perform.we played three songs (misconstrued,
bituin, and nahuhulog)....some great bands also played after us (special mention to Punkin Donuts and to the Wesley Band).....three gigz, it was great for us even if
it was tiring...but it's okay.....we plan to rest for nOw since the end of the scool year is about to cOme and hell is
about to endure on us students....we intend to record by summer so that by next school year we'll have a demo by then....we
hope to see you guys on our next gigz....tnx 4 d support!!Ü

It was a night to remember 4 jero since it was his first time
to rock it out with the fruits. "My dream finally came
true and i am am ready to die", jero shouted after the gig. Jero
is now a certified rOckstar. He replaced rEn since he went to a prOm 4 that night. JerO
also stated that he didn't sleep the whole night before the day of the gig since he was so excited...But seriously, jerO did a great job. He even danced on the mirror before the gig to practice his rOckstar
mOves. The Fruits played after parOkya ni edgar since P.N.E. still had a gig at the u.p. fair. Still, the fruits were still able to rOck it out at UE RM. They'll
be having a hectic schedule since there are upcOming gigs....They will be also needing your suppOrt since they will be having
a band competition this saturday [so be there].....Jero is also expected to play at Ateneo this
thursday or friday (still pending on the date)..... So if you wana catch jerO rOckin it out again,
come watch us play on the next gigz (posted at the hOme page)......peace out!

......sup? Friday was quite a day for us. it started up with a practice at mj's house
along with the company of alby and sartete...aL came in late since he
had classes pa. at around 5:30 we went off to admU. By the time we went there we were surprised
to know that our gig there was cut off because we came late...we were suppose to play at 5:30-5:45...damn, sayang...pero our hopes didn't play since the organizer told us that he can put us on a 10pm slot.so
off we go to Mcdo 4 some food. While eating, the uzzi group came along. They even brought a new
groupie along (wipeeeee!!). when were finished eating, matty arrived at Mcdo.
Luckily, he had a car so some of us came along with him (kawawa naman kasi si USX since marami kami). When we arrived at ArDz,
the organizer gave us time to warm up....then we played our set. After playing at ArDz, we headed back to AdmU. Once we were there, the Organizer rushed up to us and said that we will be playing before
the mOngOLs. This caused a problem for us since we are not yet cOmplete. Once stOnefree
was finsihed, the Organizer was calling up on us. then, we tOld him that we were not cOmplete yEt...sO, he let the mOngols play first instead of us...Soon, we were cOmplete and are prepared to play. After the mOngols,
we were heading at the stage when suddenly another band from another side of the stage was coming up also...with such confusion,
we decided that we let them play nalang. while the band was playin, mirO and mJ talked to the Organizer....the guy said to
us that he'll let us play but we were to play last...matty said, "pre pag last kayo magpeperform wala nang manunood sa
inyo." which was right. sO even if it was hard 4 us, we decided to call it a day 4 us. we wemt off on seperate ways.....frOm
that experience, we learned that we can't expect giGz to become successful sOmetimes....stiLL, we'll be expecting mOre
giGz 2 cOme in the near future....

Fruits first gig....

Eya...mustah?! We're glad to say that our first gig this year was okay. Still, we were
not complete considering the fact that we were jA-Less...While we were at Mcdo,
jA's voice was still operating. But once we went to mEatshOp, he's vOice malfunctioned. This caused a panic for us specially
for jerO. JerO immediately rushed jA to the mErcury drUg stOre to try to keep him alive. JerO was sweating like a pig because of tensiOn and panicked. He drove his
car like a mad man....But he failed since jA's vOice didn't recover. ( JerO = sniff,sniff). Still,
we were able to push through with the giG with the help of matsU...Matsu sang the first sOng which was cOme with me...then
Ren sang nahuhuLOg with the help of matsu....then, mirO sang puLLed back tight with the help of rEn...then Ren sang Bituin.
Lastly, mirO with rEn sang yahOOoOoOo....jerO was glad and was applauding loUdly....he even recorded the yahOOOoo song on
his phone...Anywayz, we have upcoming gigs (some pending, some not pending)....just check out at the hOme pAge for more info.....Lastly,
we hOpe that jA's vOice could recover soon since our upcoming gig will be this cOming Friday......tnx

Eya....With 2004 goin bye bye, we head Off to yeAr 2005....First
of all, we're glad to say that finally have some gigs to start the year (see hOme page). We would also like to thank jerO for some pending gigs that he had prepared for us. He is helping us with the Mtv gig in U.P.
and in a battle of the bands at UST. He is also helping us with providing the manager
that will manage us (duH?!?!). We would like to thank jerO 4 his never ending hElp 4 the band...All that we're preparing
4 nOw is the demo tracks which we will give to the upcOming manager...For this week, we'll
be at FreedOm Bar for our first gig of the year. We'll try to make this gig as memorable as we
can since it is our first....We hope many could come and support us on Friday. It will be starting at 7PM onwards...We
also hope that yOu can also make it!!!!sO please cOme.....tnx 4 d suppOrt....Ü

Sup fellas......sori if it took too long to update the sight...anyway, we just want
to announce that our crew member jero laxa was BURNED due to a
new year fire cracker. still, its good to know that he is alive and kicking,hehehe......he still has a purpose in life and
that is to support the fruits with every gig......um, for 2005, we are not really sure on what to expect.But as far as we
know, we'll be recording our songs this summer and will be completed soon....we'll planin 2 air
it over different radio stations so that other people can hear and vote for it. This is probably a good chance for us to share
to you on what we have accomplished from the year 2004. Jero and noel are also planin to co-produce it....(tnx jero and noel......you
2 have big hearts....but jero's heart is bigger,bwahahahaha). Anyway, we currently have around 6 songs. in addition, we have 1 song that is being made....The past year was great for us since it was
the birth year of the band. We had great experiences which we will be carrying out through this year. Some of the memorable
gigz for us are namely: dasma gig, gweilos gig, mayric's gig. Lastly, the band is planin 2 launch
some apparels which will be out anytime soon. You can purchase it probably during our gigz (there are stickers too....tnx
to mirO and rEn). Hope you'll support us this year and we promise you that we'll reward you with fresh and great muzik......See ya!!!!

Ey we will be having new gigz....this friday and saturday and maybe
on december 3. friday will be at AC....it is the battle of the bands. We will be playing around
3 songs there. on saturday will be on freedom bar. arki wan wan will showcase fresh and amateure
bands from different schools (admu and uste primarily). Lastly, i think we will be having one at Libis
on december 3 thanks to Rayms. Anyway, presently we have seven songs that we've created. We are making new songs for our EP soon,hehehe. Anyways, hope you can support us even more by going to the said gigz. thanks!!!yahoooooooo!!!!!!!

What can we say? It is a complete success. Thank you all for supporting singko
club. We hope you had a blast...ey, this is just the start. Expect more of it as time goes by. Anyway, the fruits has been
working hard lately and tried making new songs for you guys. We try to experiment different blends with our music. We hope
we could release an ep soon so that you can listen to our compositions. Well, maybe we'll try to plan that out. um....that
iz it for now....keep on rockin!

expectation is word that makes us desire things in life...although
sometimes such expectation can lead to suffering and pain. for our band one expectation is having the chance to spread our
music to other people. but thanks to rj it all crumbled and left us all stunned and shit. we're not really sure of the cause
of cancellation but whatever reason it is...it sure sucks. our band even practiced on the week-end.
we suffered our free time just to prepare for monday's tv gig. but what is done is done...the damaged was done. we bragged
that we would be and tv and invited everyone to give time to watch us on tv...pathetic....but we still stand and rise since
our career isn't over. nope, we are kust getting started (let's get it started, let's get it started in here) anyway back
to serious mode...mirO has just finished with the ticket lay-out along with the flyers. with our new so called "manager",
Mr. Noel Garcia was already able to get a crowd of twenty or more (we hope it's true). let's put things in the past and look
at the future ahead...mayric's gig is just around the corner. please support this gig in order
for the fruits to blossom beneath the ground. Together, let us unit to create a better world.(Labo) until next time.....
Gig at Last!!!

Friday it was and the fruits finally had a gig.After weeks and weeks of hunger and desperation
for a gig, we finally had one. Thanks to aL, we had a gig at foxsquare at sikatuna. We didn't care if it was a bad luck day
or anything,we didn't really care at all. But before we had the gig, we had class and stuff. Ateneo peeps (jA,mj,daq) had
their mid-terms which was very tiring considering the fact that it was kinda long. As for the Ust peeps (kyle,ren,jero) they
also had a regular day in school (except for ren who acted like a bum and played his ass of the whole day). So, after school
we settled down and met up at the gig. Uste peeps was first to arrive and the ateneo peeps followed.The place was
full and we were also forced to go upstairs since the guy there told us that there were korean tourist dudes who are
going to go to their place. So up we went and we were able to meet up with and more and like kinda chill out with them.
After chillin out, the pony tailed guy called out "Fruits!", so we prepared our instruments and went down. After going
down, we noticed two bothering things....first, there were only two amps....second, the cymbals were a complete disaster. Damn....wata
place. Still, we were able to settle down and calm ourselves..We can't back out now since the people over there are begging
for some music. So, we played there and really had a good time. Even though mj was having a hard time with the cymbals,
he was still able to take matter is his own hands. We started it out with ikaw ang aking bituin and ended it up
with 2 trick pony (at last we've played it,haha!)..we played a maximum of five songs which is kinda loadful but what the hey...After we've
played a guy with a crew cut hair-do approached the band and told us to stay behind coz he liked our performance and
that a rj music guy is coming over to meet us up. We stayed there and watched and more...But after their performance
we decided to home since we're tired.Mj amd Kyle stayed for that rj guy and received a calling card and was told to call it.We
think that this is kinda like our stepping stone for our band career...Even though amp isn't supporting us yet,
people are starting to know our band already. We just hope that this would continue and that our fans (specially Jero) would
continue supporting us...Thanx a lot and until next time!!!!

Fruits record more songs
August 8,2004
Last Saturday, the fruits had another recording session. Theu were able to record "come
with me", "a picture" and "ikaw ang aking bituin". This time they were able to explore new techniques of recording. Kyle and
mj organized the recording by operating the laptop...the band was quite satisfied with the outcome and plans to record more
songs in the future...also, later that day, some of the i-boys visited the band namely ussi,jero,ben-hur,hubs and nino's look
alike...in addition, the fruits are expected to have a gig this friday at foxsquare,sikatuna.there is no specific time yet
but i think it's at around 5 or 6pm. So be there or be square!!!hehehe...Ü
Fruits record their third song

Last Saturday, the band was able to record their 3rd song which is "ikaw ang aking bituin".
they recorded it at mj's house with the use of mj's laptop and a microphone. it was a rough recorded copy of the song but
kyle said that we'll just need to adjust a few things specially with the recording of the bass guitar.so if ya wana hear it
just proceed to soundclick (or just click the link at the home page). we're planning to record more songs so that people may
be able to hear our songs over the net...well, that is it as of the moment...see ya!

sup folks?!ey did ya know that we auditioned at the amp last saturday?well if you didn't
know, now u know,hehe...the auditions was great coz there was a lot of atenistas and some uste fellas rockin out.sayang nga
di ko nakita performance nila karel eh (darn!)...still, i had a great time with my band.nakakakaba pero as we performed, nawala
narin. jero was there also as part of the crew..sumaglit nga din pala c ussi boy (long hair na din....pero mas long hair ako
bwahahaha!!!) anyway, today nalaman namin na pasok kami..sinabi sakin ni kyle nung nagkasalubong kami sa elevator (of all
the places?!hehe) um....we're also trying to audition for another org at uste pero di pa namin alam kung kelan..with all these
orgs we're pretty sure na we'll be back on track with our music at no time. you can expect us to perform at fairs some ateneo
gigs and stuff....kaya sa mga nag support sa amin, tnx a lot!!!!cge tsong antok na ko eh...see ya next time!!
